خدمات مبارک راشین عزیز علیرغم دردهای بسیار شدید جسمانی

Rashin Torki is a housewife and has been married for 20 years and has a 16-year-old son. She became a Christian in 2009 and serves in different ministries such as teaching, preaching, and leading the prayer meeting in their church. She also loves to create audio files of different Christian books in Persian.

Since childhood, she has had to deal with several physical ailments. She suffered from kidney problems when she was at school. Most days, her family had to pick her up from school at a certain time to take her for an injection and then she would go back to school. As she has grown up, she has developed some other health issues such as an unpredictable numbness in different parts of her body. She must take strong morphine pills for that. She also suffers from severe back pain caused by having a lumber disc rupture problem. She is also having hearing problems. The combination of all these ailments has limited her physically to a certain extent. Anyone who knows Rashin, knows how joyful she is despite all her pains. She is well respected and admired by her peers and has been able to carry on serving in the Church despite all her difficult conditions. She acknowledges that at times she gets tired and disappointed because of her circumstances.

However, she believes that God gives her the strength to deal with all the pains she is going through. She refers to 2nd Corinthians 12: 9- 10 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. She emphasises on the fact that Christ’s power is demonstrated in her weaknesses. Its only because of God’s grace that she can move forward. She is encouraging everyone to bow down in God’s presence and taste and experience God’s grace in their lives.
